Transliteration Talks at St. Mary’s Church
7th April 2026 @ 2:30pm

Cepher® Publishing Group is delighted to present their recent publication of the 66 books of the Bible in their text, called The Way, the Truth, and the Life. During this conference, they hope to present their process for developing this unique presentation of Scripture in English.

Cepher® Publishing Group has embraced three ideals in preparing the presented text, namely… transliteration, harmonization, and inclusion. The Way, the Truth, and the Life, is a reduction of the Cepher Millennium Edition, an 87-book comprehensive restoration of Scripture in English.

Their approach to creating this text was to first transliterate approximately 3,100 names from the original text into Ivriyt (Hebrew), rather than engage in vulgar translation or even substituting the names as found. For instance, the name James is a substitution of the common English name Jacob, which would be the obvious choice even in a vulgar translation. Translations tend to round the corners of names, such as Isaiah and Jeremiah, whose names in the Ivriyt are Yesha’yahu and Yermiyah, respectively.

In their effort to provide a comprehensive transliteration of the names in the text, they have also transliterated the names omitted in most English texts, namely, the names of the Father and the Son. This issue will be discussed in depth during the conference.

In respect of their effort to harmonize the text, they took the position that the names, as transliterated from the Old Testament Ivriyt, would also be binding on their presentation in the New Testament. For instance, the Holy Spirit discussed in the Old Testament, which is referred to as the Holy Ghost in the New Testament, is instead transliterated in the text from the underlying Ivriyt as Ruach Ha’qodesh. Whereas Isaiah is often referred to as Isias in the New Testament, and Elijah as Elias or even Elizeus, they have employed the strict transliteration as Eliyahu in all formats, harmonizing the transliterated form found in the Old Testament as it is referenced in the New Testament.

Finally, under their doctrine of inclusion, they have elected to include texts which may be controversial in their origin, such as the Yohanan Comma and the 29th chapter of Acts. Their choice was to include these texts rather than exclude them to best preserve them for scholars.

Many other aspects of their work will be discussed in this text, including their formatting, the indentation of prayers, the inclusion of the alef-tav, the indentation of Old Testament references found in the New Testament, and their textual presentation of the Rolls in the Old Testament and the Letters of the New Testament.

Wycliffe-Cepher Exhibition Re-Opening

EWHAL is delighted to continue having Cepher Publishing Group’s exhibition
of the אה Cepher Scriptures and their new 66-book canon, “The Way, The Truth, and The Life
.
Location: Lutterworth & District Museum [12D Market St, LE17 4EH], the home of John Wycliffe!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

John Wycliffe spent the last three years of his life in exile at Lutterworth. During his time there and assisted by his followers including Nicholas of Hereford, John Horn, and John Purvey, he completed the first translation of the bible from the Latin Vulgate onto English in 1383.

The following year he suffered a severe stroke and died on 31st December 1384. However, the Catholic church pursued him after his death. He was denounced as a heretic by the Council of Constance in 1415 and in 1428 Richard Fleming, the Bishop of Lincoln was present with other church dignitaries to see his bones exhumed, burned and the ashes thrown into the River Swift. He was entitled “The Morning Star of the Reformation” as his pioneering work influenced not only John Huss in Bohemia but the works and writings of Martin Luther who led the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. There are monuments and interesting artifacts to John Wycliffe in the Lutterworth Museum and St Mary’s Parish Church.

About Cepher Publishing Group, LLC

The Cepher Publishing Group, LLC, under the leadership of Stephen Pidgeon, its President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Editor, began in 2012 to provide a comprehensive restoration of scripture in the English language. To this end, its initial publication was called the Eth Cepher®. The Eth Cepher included the 66 books of the bible and 21 additional books, including the works of the Apocrypha, and works found in other traditions, including the initial publications in the English language such as the 1539 Great Bible of Myles Coverdale, the 1560 Geneva Bible of John Calvin, and the 1611 King James Authorized Version.

Cepher Publishing has followed the strict traditions of the English Bibles in relying upon the Masoretic Hebrew text for the Old Testament and the Stephanus Textus Receptus for the New Testament. However, they departed from the traditions found to be sufficient 400 years ago and elected to transliterate the 3,100 names in the text and clarify language that has remained troublesome for centuries.

In their transliterations, they discovered the name of the Creator, given to us more than 7,000 times in the ancient text. The text compels us to disclose this name, which is the most important novelty of the Eth Cepher.

They have now arrived with a new publication that they seek to introduce in Lutterworth where they have gathered together for the past four years. Cepher Publishing has crafted a new 66-book version of the Eth Cepher called “The Way, the Truth, and the Life.” While the text holds to the tradition of English Scripture, it is wonderfully different with its transliterations and other features found for the first time in the Eth Cepher.

Eatin Wild Honey and Locusts (EWHAL) is Lilbourne based within the borders of Leicestershire and Warwickshire and serves as a national and online global ministry promoting the spread of the full Gospel of Jesus (Yahusha) and the broader work of apocryphal scripture to better interpret the Truth behind the sacred word.

EWHAL serves as a sister ministry to Cepher Publishing Group, LLC, which publishes the Eth Cepher, a comprehensive restoration of sacred scripture, having been published in part in the UK, and is introducing and promoting the release of “The Way, The Truth, and The Life” to the general public in the UK and Europe. Over the years, we have hosted Cepher author and publisher, Dr Stephen Pidgeon at numerous gatherings in the market town of Lutterworth, namely Lutterworth Town Hall and Lutterworth Pavilion. This town is historically significant for the forerunner, John Wycliffe, who translated the first Bible from the Latin Vulgate into English in 1383. In an era preceding the printing press, Wycliffe sent his “poor preachers,” coined the “Lollards,” throughout England with segments of the scriptures, preaching the good news of the gospel (Besor’oth).

In the legacy of Wycliffe, who acted autonomously to bring forth the Scriptures in the English language via translation, the Eth Cepher has furthered this work, adding to the impetus to include transliteration of approximately 3,100 names found in the Scriptures, and harmonizing these names across the testaments, enabling these Scriptures to resonate in their intended entirety, bolstering faith and renewing comprehension.
